Over the last few years PowWows.com has webcasted Pow Wows across the country live on the web. These broadcasts have grown in popularity.
We now have the desire to increase the production quality of these webcasts. We have selected equipment that will allow us to bring you a much better webcast production. This equipment will allow us to add more cameras, place the cameras in different positions around the arena, include picture in picture, smoother transitions between cameras, and more.
PowWows.com takes pride in the fact that all of the resources on our websites are free. We do not charge for access to any of our many online resources. And we want to continue that! We have also never asked for donations from our users. However we cannot purchase this equipment without your help!
The total cost of the equipment is approximately $10,000. We realize that this is a significant investment. If each active member donated $10 we would reach our goal in no time! But we realize that not everyone can afford to donate that amount. A donation of any amount is welcome and appreciated!
We will also be soliciting sponsorships for the webcast equipment from companies. We will provide advertising for large donations from companies. Please see below for more information.
