Outdoor pow wows
I seem to remember as a child growing up in Oklahoma, there were many more pow wows held outdoors than there is these days. Is that the case, or is my memory screwed up. Not that I don't enjoy all pow wows, but it just feels good to be outside in the fresh air and sunshine (or moonshine, as the case may be). I'm sure the dancers prefer the luxury of A/C, but it seems more spiritual with trees, grass, etc around as a setting. Are outdoor pow wows a dying animal?
