British Photographer Captures Beautiful Images of Indigenous People

Bryan Downey is a British photographer, currently based in New York. He's a portrait photographer whose work has been seen in various magazines and online publications. He's currently working with the Shinnecock Nation with their photography needs but wants to explore other Native communities across the country.

Beautiful images right? He has reached out to Cherokee, Navajo and Pawnee Nations, looking for permission and their blessing to photograph people in the community. Are you interested in being photographed? Bryan does not charge to take the photos, and all photos will be released to the tribe and subjects for their own use. He is willing to travel to your community at any time, so don't be shy!

If anyone out there would like to reach out to Bryan and be photographed, please contact him via email at [email protected] or phone at 516-768-5974.
