BEADED MINIATURE PAPOOSE BOARD BY MARCUS DEWEY ARAPAHO TRIBE BEAUTIFUL

BEAUTIFUL BEAD WORK BY MARCUS DEWEY FROM THE WIND RIVER RESERVATION OF WYOMING.  HE IS A MEMBER OF THE ARAPAHO TRIBE WHOSE BEAD WORK IS EXCEPTIONAL.  THIS IS A MINIATURE PAPOOSE CARRIER (BOARD) WITH DEER SKIN LEATHER ON THE BOTTOM AND USED AS TIES.  FELT TONGUE AND BLANKET COVER ARE SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.  COTTON “STARS” CLOTH IS THE INSIDE LINER.  

THE PIECE IS 6 INCHES LONG AND 2 INCHES WIDE.  IT IS FROM THE 1990'S.
THE PICTURES SHOW ACTUAL COLOR AND BEAD DESIGN.
