From eBay:

Beaded Sioux Vest circa1880’s

This wonderful piece of History is a must have for any serious collector of Native American art.

This spectacular vest measures 23 inches high by 14 inches wide. The vest is from the Sioux tribe from the later part of the 19th century. The vest has been brain-tanned and sewn with sinew. The beadwork is spectacular with a design of tee-pees and flags.

The vest was probably made by a wife for her husband. This is something that a wife would have made to bring pride and recognition for her husband.

This beautiful piece of history is in great condition and is something that must be cherished for many years to come.

This is a rare piece! Do not miss this opportunity to add this special garment to your collection!!
